Regulatory & Qualification Testing
Compliant & Correct
From the start of each project we work alongside your engineers to fully understand the performance, environmental and regulatory testing requirements for your device and market. We then design each battery to meet these requirements and we ensure full certification is obtained prior to the battery moving into series production. Accutronics project manage the testing to IEC, UL, UN / IATA and MIL standards to ensure that there are no delays in getting your device to market on time.
Battery Standards IEC 62133-1:2017 & IEC 62133-2:2017
For most portable devices that use rechargeable Nickel or Lithium battery systems as a source of power it is now necessary for the batteries to meet the requirements of the IEC 62133. There are now two versions of this standard (IEC 62133-1:2017 for Nickel systems and IEC 62133-2:2017 for Lithium systems).
